Underwater content will be accessible, not cumbersome.[3]
- Characters are able to utilize their abilities while in the water.[1]
- Stamina does not limit swimming, however breath does.[4]
- Navigational instruments are available to allow ships to detect movement under the water, such as aquatic mounts.[5]
Treasures may be obtained through fishing and by exploring naval content.[6][7]

Aquatic mounts are Tier A mounts[11] that may be obtained from taming underwater creatures.[12]

- Aquatic mounts are faster in water and slower on land.[13]
- Aquatic mounts will be able to fully traverse naval areas and water areas.[14]
