This guide is intended for both MMO veterans and people whose first MMORPG is Ashes of Creation. It should cover the most used ones, who are applicable amongst the entire community. Guild-internal or other local acronyms will not be covered by the following categories.

| BRB |
Be right back, refers to someone going away for a short period of time

| DPS |
Damage per second refers to either 1. the damage a character deals per second
|

2. a character whose primary role is dealing damage, also refered to as DD
|

| Ninjaing/Ninja Looting |
A ninja looter is a person who leaves immediately after receiving a desired item, that he *usually* doesn't deserve, and is frowned upon.

Out of mana, usually said when out of ressources to request a break
|
| OTW/OMW |
On the way/On my way, the usual response to a request when already on the way there.

| PUG |
Pick-up group is a term used to describe groups found of people who do not know each other, for a purpose, like a group founded to complete a dungeon.
